Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By installing the RecoverOS Chrome extension or using the RecoverOS website (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and RecoverOS.

2. Description of service

RecoverOS is an AI-powered ergonomic monitoring tool delivered as a Chrome browser extension. It uses on-device AI (MediaPipe) to analyze posture and estimate fatigue in real time. All camera processing occurs locally in your browser — no video is transmitted to our servers.

3. Account and eligibility

• You must be 13 years or older to use the Service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• One account per person; no sharing of accounts
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the extension
• Use the Service to monitor individuals without their explicit consent
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service
• Attempt to circumvent account or feature restrictions
• Use the Service in violation of applicable law

6. Health disclaimer

RecoverOS is a wellness tool, not a medical device.

The fatigue scores, posture alerts, and recovery suggestions provided by RecoverOS are for general wellness purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not rely on RecoverOS for any medical purpose. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for concerns about repetitive strain, musculoskeletal health, or any medical condition. RecoverOS makes no warranty regarding the accuracy of its ergonomic assessments.

7. Intellectual property

RecoverOS and its logos, designs, and software are owned by RecoverOS and protected by copyright and trademark laws. The Service is licensed to you, not sold. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension for personal or internal business purposes during your subscription.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecoverOS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Warranty disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for material violation of these Terms with reasonable notice where practicable. You may terminate your account at any time from Settings. On termination, your access to paid features ends immediately; free-tier functionality may remain available.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka. For EU users, applicable mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via in-extension notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
