1. What RecoverOS Collects

Nothing from your camera. RecoverOS processes all camera data entirely on your device using local AI (MediaPipe PoseLandmarker). No video, images, or pose data is ever transmitted, stored, or leaves your computer.

The only data collected is:

• Anonymous usage metrics — feature interactions (e.g., nudge accepted, dashboard viewed) to help improve the product. No personal identifiers unless you create an account.
• Account data (if you sign up) — email address for authentication, and anonymized session metadata (aggregate posture scores, no biometrics).

2. How Data Is Used

• Anonymous analytics help us understand which features users engage with.
• Account data enables cross-device sync of your preferences and dashboard history.
• We never sell, share, or transmit any camera-derived data.

3. Third-Party Services

RecoverOS uses Supabase for authentication and database hosting. Supabase is SOC 2 compliant and stores data in accordance with their security practices. No camera data passes through Supabase.

4. Data Retention

Anonymous analytics are retained for 12 months. Account data is retained until you delete your account. You can request deletion at any time.

6. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is materially updated, users will be notified via the extension.
